Target Field Trip Grant
Target will award up to $800.00 towards
field trips during the 2008-09 school year.
The grant could help cover the
transportation costs, entry fees, supplies and
other resource materials required for the 4th
and 6th Grade Field trips. Trips must take
place after the awards.
Grant deadline is November 1, 2008
with notification in January 2009.
Solar 4 R Schools
Idaho Power and the Bonneville
Environmental Foundation would place
solar panels on the roof of Holy Spirit
Catholic School to reduce energy costs.

AAHPERD, Jump Rope for Heart Grant
Holy Spirit's PE Instructor, Mr. Lester
Stewart, will attend the National AAHPERD
conference in Tampa. (American Alliance
for Health, Physical Education and Dance)
In addition Holy Spirit Catholic School will
receive $1,200 in physical education
equipment
School Garden Grant
Holy Spirit Catholic School received $3,000
in grant money from the USDA's Team
Nutrition Program to implement a school
vegetable/fruit garden to teach nutrition and
other school curriculum.
ISU GK-12 LEGO League Grant
Holy Spirit Catholic School received $2,000
towards the First LEGO League competition
as well an ISU science graduate student who
partnered with the classroom teachers.
